They ensure the seamless deployment, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, bridging the gap between project design and operational execution.
Overview
Seigosoft IT Field Engineers:

Perform on-site installations, configurations, upgrades, and repairs of IT and network equipment.

Act as trusted representatives of Seigosoft, ensuring professional delivery and client satisfaction.

Support diverse environments, including retail, healthcare, financial, government, and industrial client sites.

Uphold Seigosoft’s commitment to quality, compliance, and timely service.
Key Responsibilities

Installation and Configuration: Deploy hardware such as switches, routers, access points, servers, POS systems, kiosks, cabling (copper/fiber), and other IT equipment.

Structured Cabling: Perform rack-and-stack, cable terminations, Cat 6/Fiber optic installation, certification, and testing.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on-site; escalate as needed.

Documentation: Complete work orders, site photos, as-built drawings, and sign-off sheets to verify job completion.

Client Interaction: Provide courteous and clear communication to client contacts; ensure satisfaction at handoff.

Compliance and Safety: Follow site-specific rules and broader regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA), including safe operation of lifts, booms, and ladders.
Skills and Competencies

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of networking, structured cabling, IT hardware, Wi-Fi systems, and basic server configuration.

Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve issues independently under time constraints.

Communication: Clear verbal and written communication with clients, dispatch, and project managers.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse environments, from data centers to retail stores to healthcare facilities.

Tools: Familiar with cable testers, OTDR, punch-down tools, crimpers, labelers, laptops with configuration software, and remote access tools (e.g., PuTTY, Tera Term).
